It looks super-cool from the highway, so I thought I'd give it a try! The first time I tried, though, it was about 7 or 8pm and it was closed! I found it a bit ironic that the "Starlite Diner" was CLOSED when the stars were lit up.
Anyways, I was able to stop by for lunch one day. Inside, it was done all up in an old-school kind of way. The benches are white and red leather/vinyl and it has an overall aura of the authentic 1950s/60s diner complete with milkshake machines.
The food though - not much variety and kind of bland/boring.
I'd go again maybe, just for the atmosphere.

CBC review
Often people living in small towns don't give the restaurants of their small towns a proper chance. For some reason, we would rather drive an hour and a half into the city for a "decent meal". If we know what's a block away, maybe we can save ourselves some gas!
Small town restaurants...
I'm on a mission to point out the good, the bad and the downright yucky of small town Alberta restaurants.

Too Busy, Too Cheap
Step 1: Get husband off the rigs.
Of course, this requires him taking non-oil/gas work. Which of course, pays way less.
Step 2: Work my butt off so he can STAY off the rigs.
Step 3: Save all of our hard-earned cash.
Of course, this means not eating out at restaurants as much.
